3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the confidentiality of your account and wallet credentials
Only use the Services for lawful purposes
Not engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful activities
Comply with blockchain protocol rules and platform policies

You are solely responsible for activities conducted through your account and blockchain wallet.

4. Blockchain and Wallet Usage

IMEC interacts with decentralized blockchain networks (e.g., Stellar, XDC, XRPL).

You acknowledge:

Transactions are irreversible
Blockchain addresses and balances are publicly visible
Loss of private keys may result in permanent loss of tokens
IMEC is not responsible for errors caused by third-party wallets or networks

You retain full control of your wallet at all times.

5. IMEC Token

By acquiring or holding the IMEC token, you acknowledge that:

Tokens represent access to tokenized real-world asset opportunities
Tokens do not provide ownership in IME Capital as a company
Token values may fluctuate
All token transactions are governed by the blockchain

IMEC does not guarantee profits, price appreciation, or liquidity.

6. Compliance and Verification

We may require identity verification (KYC) or transaction checks (AML) where legally necessary.

You agree to provide accurate documents when requested.

We reserve the right to:

Refuse service
Freeze features pending verification
Comply with regulatory authorities if required

7. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

Use the platform for illegal activity, money laundering, or sanction evasion
Attempt to attack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Services
Misrepresent asset ownership or provide false documentation
Interfere with marketplace operations or token issuance

Violation may result in account suspension, token freeze (where supported by the chain), or legal action.

8. Asset Information & Listings

All real-world asset data provided through IMEC (valuation, condition, documentation, projections, etc.) is sourced from third-party professionals or sellers.

IMEC does not guarantee:

Asset performance
Future value
Accuracy of third-party reports

Users should perform their own due diligence.

9. No Financial Advice

The Services are informational and operational tools only.

IMEC does not:

Act as a broker-dealer
Act as an investment advisor
Provide recommendations

You are solely responsible for evaluating risks and making decisions.

10. Fees

Certain platform features may include fees, including:

Token issuance
Marketplace transactions
Cross-chain transfers
Compliance services

Fees will be disclosed before use. Blockchain network fees (gas) are external and non-refundable.

11. Intellectual Property

The IMEC brand, platform design, logos, and content are owned by IME Capital and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not:

Copy
Modify
Distribute
Commercialize

any content without our written permission.

12. Service Modifications

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

We are not liable for:

Platform downtime
Blockchain network outages
Third-party service failures

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IMEC is not liable for:

Losses from token volatility
Loss of private keys
Blockchain network failures
User errors
Unauthorized third-party access
Loss of profits, revenue, or data

Your use of the Services is at your own risk.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold IMEC harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

Your use of the Services
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of laws or third-party rights

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which IME Capital operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration unless prohibited by law.

16. Termination

Fraud or security issues arise

Upon termination, you remain responsible for blockchain transactions already completed.
